Another week and another incredible fitness professional to share. Finding inspiration in the idea that he truly make a difference in someone's life, Kyle specializes in a few different modalities, which is fitting, as he himself is a triathlete.

We caught up with Kyle to learn more about his philosophy, what he does when he's not training clients (or himself) and what movements he's loving these days. Here's what he had to say.

What is your fitness specialty?

Indoor Cycling, Running/Treadmill, and Strength.

What inspired you to become a trainer?

The notion that I can truly make a difference in someone's life.

What has been the most rewarding part of being a trainer?

Knowing that my clients look forward to our time together. Knowing that I am able to take them out of a dark or stressful time and put a smile on their face or make them laugh. Knowing that I make them feel better in their own shoes. Receiving messages from clients nationwide who I've only met through a camera and finding out how I've changed their life.

How do you put together a training program for clients or yourself?

Varies from client to client but it all depends on their fitness background and their goals. For example, my training program for an Ironman 70.3 would be drastically different than someone new to fitness who just wants to get moving for 30 minutes, 2x/week.

What is the toughest part about being a trainer?

Staying positive 24/7. No matter what is going on in my life, my clients are looking to me for that light. They are expecting the silly, cheery, happy Kyle every single day. If I am going through a tough time,  I need to flip the switch the second I start class or a zoom session.

What is your current favorite way to move/current favorite movement?

Running. It always gets me through tough times and I always leave a run with an epiphany and a new perspective.

What movement do you hate, but that you know is an important part of your fitness/movement routine?

Swimming. As a triathlete, swimming is a huge component of my training program, but my least favorite. It's my weakest of the three modalities, which may be the reason why I hate it! But I still do it since I find that conquering your fears and doing shit you don't enjoy makes you stronger and better.

Where can people find your or take your classes? Rumble Training. Virtual: Rumble TV, Equinox+, Stryde Bike App, and my own Live/On Demand Zoom classes.

When you aren’t working out, what do you like to do?

I like to wine and dine! Everything in moderation of course, but I love a nice night out to dinner with some yummy wine and drinks, and of course, dessert. I am a big sweets guy :)

What’s one movement or fitness myth you hate that people think is real?

That lifting weights will make you bulky.

What’s your current favorite song to move to?

Any Big Bootie Mix by Two Friends.

Favorite meal?

Ice Cream lol

Favorite item of Rhone gear?

Swift Tank
