The Best Holiday Gifts for Men According to Professional Trainer & Strength Coach Jason Pak
Jason has been a personal trainer/strength coach for the past 13 years. In 2012, he opened up his own fitness facility, Achieve Fitness, with his wife, Lauren. Over the years they’ve found that fitness has become such an elitist and exclusive entity, which is why they’re on a mission to bring inclusivity and positive vibes to the fitness space. As a trainer and dad, here are Jason's picks for best holiday gifts.
I LIVE in these. They’re tailored and fit just right, they’re ultra comfortable, and they stretch without losing shape. It’s my go-to pair of pants whether I’m working out, working from home, running errands, or lounging around the house!
This was the “gateway” piece of apparel that got me hooked with Rhone. It’s literally my favorite short of all time. I like to do heavy lower body workouts and all of my previous shorts used to rip when I put them through a couple of heavy squat days. These are durable enough to endure any training session and flexible enough to not feel like they restrict you at all. The 7" inseam is the perfect length for me and it fits perfectly.
Can you tell I like joggers?! These are for when I need to wear something a bit more formal than my spar joggers. They fit perfectly, they stretch well, the color ways are all modern and look great, and it’s my go-to “need-to-get-dressed up-but-look-casual” pant.
Say goodbye to stiff dress shirts! These stretchy shirts fit and feel amazing! I always find that dress shirts that fit me across the shoulders are always boxy around the waist, and dress shirts that fit me across the waist are always too tight across my shoulders. The commuter shirt is the perfect in-between zone of fitting just right across the chest and shoulders and then tapering down along the waist. It doesn’t wrinkle like a traditional dress shirt and is now my go-to shirt for formal events and weddings!
