Who doesn't love sitting down on the weekend with a big (or small) bowl of popcorn? Spice things up a bit with Zach Morgan's cajun take on a classic snack.  Head to your spice cabinet, turn on the oven, and let's get started.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 cups popped popcorn

  • 1/4 cup butter

  • 2 tsp paprika

  • 2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1-2 tsp cayenne

  • 1 tsp dried sage

  • salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 300.

  2. Melt butter and pour into a medium mixing bowl.

  3. Add popcorn to melted butter and toss well.

  4. In a separate bowl mix seasoning together. Slowly add it to the popcorn while mixing so that the popcorn gets evenly coated.

  5. Transfer to a baking dish. (squared or round is fine)

  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until popcorn looks mostly dry.

  7. Transfer to a bowl and let cool for at least 5 minutes.
