Rhone Picks with Rhone Creative Director Ben Checketts
Personally, Ben loves going with the flow, in kettlebells, on a mountain bike, and especially swimming with his two kids. But professionally, as our creative director, he finds his best work comes when he goes against the current. Here are his favorites.
1. Commuter Short: I may be the only one who has these shorts in all inseams, but it's because I love them that much. I use the 11" for mountain biking, the 9" for heading out on a date with the wife and 7" for basically everything else. The perfect amount of style and stretch for whatever the day holds.
2. Reign Tech Short Sleeve: I am a BIG fan of seamless shirts, and these are the best of all the rest! They are perfect for anything active - working out, running, hiking, etc. It's incredible how versatile they are. I have been impressed at how well they breathe and best of all, amazingly soft and comfortable they continue to be, wear after wear.
3. 5" Swift Shorts: I have been rocking the 5" Swifts since they launched and as a shorter guy (5'9") I have to say, they are the perfect training short. I love the length, the pockets, the waistband loop, etc. Plus the new winged foot pattern is pretty fire!
4. Element V-Neck: I'm not typically a v-neck guy, but the Element V-Neck is my go-to shirt for casual wear. It's light, it's soft, it's comfortable and they last FOREVER. I still have some of our original Elements and they look brand new, despite me beating the absolute heck out of them. The v-neck for some reason sits better on me and looks great.
