What mental health needs is more sunlight, more candor, and more unashamed conversation. – Glenn Close

While the world rarely has an issue talking about physical health, there is unfortunately still a stigma surrounding mental health. We’re on a mission to change that – to influence the conversation. To encourage those around us to be comfortable and confident in speaking about their mental health, whatever that may look like for them. The good and the bad, the joyous and the dark. With a focus on mental health this month, we encourage you to check in with your mind, each and every day.

Throughout the month of May, we'll highlight conversations, offer insight, and provide tools you can utilize to ensure you’re giving your mind all of the care that it needs. From the gut-brain connection, the impact of sleep and exercise, sun exposure and getting outside, mindfulness, and the community you surround yourself with, there are a diverse number of ways to actively support your mental health. Together, we can shift the dialogue surrounding men and mental health to one that is supportive, open, and honest.

JOIN US THIS MONTH AS WE FOCUS OUR EFFORTS ON THE IMPORTANCE OF MENTAL HEALTH.

Every week, we challenge you to do the following:

  1. Reach out to a friend to see how they're doing.

  2. Talk to someone you trust about your mental state and how you're feeling that week.

  3. Spend one full day disconnected from social media.

  4. Get outside–whether that's for a run, walk, doing work, reading, etc.

  5. Do a weekly recap of everything that you're grateful for.
