Recipe makes 12 cups
INGREDIENTS

1 orange, sliced

1 red apple, sliced

3 cups strawberries, husked and sliced

½ cup pomegranate seeds, plus more for garnish

1 bottle (750 ml) red table wine (like Pinot Noir)

1 cup pomegranate juice
-
½ to 1 cup chilled sparkling water, plain or pomegranate-flavored
*For Mocktail version, skip the wine, double up on pomegranate juice and sparkling water.

INSTRUCTIONS

Place the orange, apple, strawberries, and pomegranate seeds in a large pitcher.

Add the wine and pomegranate juice. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight (so the fruit has time to incorporate all the delicious juice and wine flavor).

When you’re ready to serve, pour into glasses and top each glass off with a splash of sparkling water and a sprinkling of pomegranate seeds, if desired.
