"For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he." Proverbs 23:7 (NKJV)

Believe you are great when things aren't going well – when your world is upside down and everyone is telling you that you can't win. You must develop habits that will embolden you to face your Goliath and continue forward.

Rush forward.

Belief, followed by action, will make you unstoppable. But there must first be a worthy goal, a result or achievement toward which your effort can be directed.  The end point of a race, not to be confused with the freedoms associated with reaching that point, must be clearly set.  Though most consider material wants, such as a big house, big cars, or money, as the end, this is a mistake. These materials things are options only afforded to those who run a good race and cross the finish line.

The race is not a sprint.

Contrary to what many believe, the race is not won overnight. And the race is not exclusive to a "lucky" and "privileged" few. Prepare for a long journey. You will endure hardships – there will be many challenges, disappointments, and sleepless nights along the way. Those who have the mental and physical capacity to keep moving against all odds will reach their goals and be rewarded with all the freedoms associated with the win.

Every single time.

You were born with everything you need to excel in this life. But every goal has a price tag. How much are you willing to give? How much do you really want it? How far are you willing to go? Knowing answers to these questions will be crucial to your success. Uncompromising self-reflection and assessment will save you a wasted, unfulfilled life. After all, what’s the point of starting anything if you are unsure of your own commitment level? You have to be WILLING.

There is no other way.

Only when you are willing to commit, should there be a program.  Imagine yourself at the top then analyze the space between the top and your current standing. Assess the most efficient pathway.

Bridge that gap.  Strategize.

Commit to a strategy knowing that it may change. The likelihood of anything working out according to your initial plan is slim to none. Be prepared for change. The only constant on this journey will be your passion. NEVER leave home without it. It's hard out here and you’d better believe that there is always someone willing to take your spot. Your passion is the only thing they can't take away from you.

Protect it.

Believe in yourself. Set real goals. Ask yourself real questions. Go after what you want with everything you've got.

Your time is now.  Forever forward.
