Introducing the March Pursuit: Sleep
Did you know that, on average, you'll probably spend around 1/3 of your life sleeping? Not only does sleep give you the energy needed to take on the day, but sleep also plays an integral role in your overall health, impacting organ function and mental clarity, to name a few.
This month, we're challenging you to reevaluate your sleep habits. Think of getting enough sleep health is an act of self-care. As a general rule of thumb, research says that adults between the ages of 18 and 64 should get 6-8 hours of sleep a night. More importantly, it has been found that getting up and going to bed at the same time each day has a huge impact on your energy levels and overall function.
MARCH CHALLENGE
Create a consistent sleep schedule.
Get up and go to bed at the same time each day, allowing yourself to get 6-8 hours of sleep each night.
With helps from the experts, we'll dive into the biology of sleep, why sleep matters, how to make your sleep great, and introduce you to resources to help you fall asleep and wake up significantly more rested.
So fluff your pillow, maybe buy some new sheets, and get ready for a month (and hopefully a lifetime) of better sleep.
