HAIRCARE

My biggest don’t cannot be emphasized enough. Stop shampooing your hair so much. I know everyone loves to feel very clean, however over use of shampoo can lead to dry scalp and hair. Shampoo strips nutrients from your scalp and hair hindering growth, health and natural shimmer to the hair itself.

As an alternative, rinse really well everyday and condition the hair. Limit yourself to one or two washes a week at most.

When purchasing shampoo, look for a sulfate free product. This shampoo is free from very detergent heavy cleansers and will be a lot softer on the hair follicles.

BEARD CARE
One big mistake I see often when men start to grow their beard is where they decide to line up the bottom. A big no no is making the bottom beard line right on the chin. It is not flattering and reduces the appearance of a strong jaw line. The best place to start is usually around the Adam’s apple as it looks more natural.

It is also important to exfoliate once a week when growing a beard. Product can build underneath the hair and actually affect the skin. A light soap or shampoo is recommended.
